Summary

Trusting the bad boy… What could go wrong?

It’s on my birthday that I realize the past sixteen years of my life haven't really been mine。
From my outfits to my hairstyles and even to my love life, my parents have control over all of it。 And instead of fighting, I live by my mantra: keep my head down and keep my mouth shut。

Until I’m paired with Brentwood High’s resident bad boy, Hudson Bishop。 There aren’t enough adjectives to describe him。 Intimidating。 Scary。 Panic-inducing。 There’s a reason the school calls him the Grim Reaper。 And when our principal pairs us together for a “buddy program,” he makes it perfectly clear he doesn’t want to be stuck with a stiff like me。

But when I’m voted Most Likely To: Stay A Prude by the elite crowd of the school, suddenly Hudson Bishop is more than just a bad boy—he’s a way out from underneath my mother’s thumb。 He’s a path to rebellion, and despite all of the warning bells going off in my head, I take it。

I just have to make sure I don’t get lost along the way…
And it may already be too late。

I want to say first off THANK YOU Sarah。 She sent me an ARC of this book and I am so grateful。 I have read all NINE of Sarah’s self-published books and I absolutely loved them! These are some of my fave characters to date! If you love sweet YA romance, high school settings, and beautiful first love romances then this book (& all her others) are for you!

Are we surprised that I am giving another book by Sarah Sutton 5 stars? I'm certainly not。 Every book of hers is incredible and so different from one another。 Including this one。 I adore a book with a bad boy and this one ticked all the boxes。 I loved the relationship between Gemma and Hudson。 I couldn't help but smile at so many of the scenes。 This was just so cute and filled with amazing characters。 I cannot wait for the next book! Sarah Sutton keeps getting better and better! Rebelling With the Bad Boy was truly so good! I really don’t want to spoil anything, but everything from the character arcs to the storyline as a whole to how real everything felt was incredible。 And there were so many heartwarming and cute moments throughout! I love how Gemma and Hudson developed over the course of the book - and how cute they were, of course! 🥰 Honestly, the bad boy trope isn’t necessarily my favorite, but Sarah did an amazing job Sarah Sutton keeps getting better and better! There’s just something about Sarah’s writing style that pulls you in, keeps you engaged, and flows so easily! 🤩 I promise that if you love YA Contemporary Romance, you’re going to love Rebelling With the Bad Boy! 💕(And a huge thank you to Sarah for letting me be an ARC reader! 🫶🏻) 。。。more

What a fun book to read!!It was a blast following Gemma’s discovery of herself! The characters were a delight to get to know (besides Tee, I am a true Christian and didn’t approve or appreciate that it’s was ‘they/them’ it was confusing to read and just not right) I loved that both main characters, Hudson and Gemma, had to do self-reflections to figure out who they were🤍I loved how everything was resolved in the end (I love happy endings🥹) and can’t wait for the next book!!!

A misunderstood bad boy? A sheltered girl interested in shaking up her image? History with the older brother? Overprotective parents? I mean, it's been done before, it'll be done again and it'll keep being 👌👌Sarah Sutton is an engaging writer, she writes what I feel like are realistic high school characters, family dynamics play a role (I love a YA novel where the parents are involved) and she writes swoony kisses。 So obviously, you should check this out。 These Most Likely To books are creeping A misunderstood bad boy? I would like to start by thanking Sarah Sutton for receiving and ARC copy of this book。 This book was a great read。 It’s the type of book where you promise yourself “just one more chapter” and then its almost 5am… waiting to start this book until after my exam was a good choice because once I started it I read it at work, at the dinner table, and then into the wee hours of the morning…My favorite thing about this book was the characters。 They were sooooo well rounded and I feel like I could be f I would like to start by thanking Sarah Sutton for receiving and ARC copy of this book。 This book was a great read。 It’s the type of book where you promise yourself “just one more chapter” and then its almost 5am… waiting to start this book until after my exam was a good choice because once I started it I read it at work, at the dinner table, and then into the wee hours of the morning…My favorite thing about this book was the characters。 They were sooooo well rounded and I feel like I could be friends with half the kids in this book。 Gemma and Hudson weren’t the only characters that felt complete, the supporting characters were exceptionally written too。 Also I love seeing all of the references to other books Sarah has written it’s so cool to see all the little overlapping details。 Her mom babying her was excessive but believable。 It was easy to see that she had to pick out Gemma’s clothes and do her hair because she wanted her to stay young forever。 As someone who grew up in a strict household the book the interactions with her family seemed so realistic。 Originally I thought the goody two shoes stuff was going to be overdone, but actually it was the perfect amount of over the top for the reader to see how desperate Gemma was to be herself。The tension in this book is well done。 The description is chefs kiss, I feel like I’m actually there。 I can’t count how many times I got that giddy butterfly feeling while reading this book。 It makes me want to find my own person lol。 Also I love the symbolism and hidden meanings in this book and I think the last name was a great choice。 The one thing I didn’t like was that Hudson didn’t seem “bad boy” enough。 While he wore black clothes and had a scary nickname, he wasn’t what I expected, but I guess that was kinda the point。 Overall I would definitely recommend this book and I am anxiously awaiting the next book。 。。。more

Sarah Sutton did it again! This book is fast-paced, full of adventure, and definitely worth the read。 I know that this one will be read again and again and again。 It ended too soon for me (or I read it too fast)。Hudson Bishop is my NEW favorite Sutton-verse boy。 He has this reputation that grabs you and sucks you in。 He does things that you wouldn't think he would。 Hudson deserves his own book - in my opinion。 Gemma Settler is a character I relate to all too well。 She's stuck under the thumb of Sarah Sutton did it again! (Note, I received an ARC copy of Rebelling With The Bad Boy)Book 3 in The Most Likely Too series blew me away! From the first chapter, I fell in love with Gemma。She was a wonderful girl trapped in a controlled life。 Her mum controls every single aspect of her life。 From her hair and clothes to the people she spends time with and her day-to-day activities。So, when she meets Hudson and creates her Rebellion List, it was really amazing watching Gemma grow in confidence。The driving force behind Hudso (Note, I received an ARC copy of Rebelling With The Bad Boy)Book 3 in The Most Likely Too series blew me away! From the first chapter, I fell in love with Gemma。She was a wonderful girl trapped in a controlled life。 Her mum controls every single aspect of her life。 From her hair and clothes to the people she spends time with and her day-to-day activities。So, when she meets Hudson and creates her Rebellion List, it was really amazing watching Gemma grow in confidence。The driving force behind Hudson was an interesting one to learn about。 Just when I felt like I knew what pushed him I was shocked by something new。 The plot of the story was one of the best in the MLT Series。 Watching Gemma grow and changed and become a stronger woman was so enjoyable。Seeing Hudson change and become a better person was really fun。It was nice to see our main characters in book 4。 Fake Dating The Football Player。The pacing of this book felt like it slowed a little in the middle of the book, for a chapter or two and then it picked up again。There was never a time while reading this story that I felt bored。 There were moments that I was on the edge of my seat, moments that I yelled at Gemma in happiness and annoyance, and moments that I jumped up and danced for joy。But never a moment that I felt like putting the book down。This book was full of romance, laughs and friendship。Sarah has written another amazing story with brilliant characters。 。。。more

This was a really cute YA novel。 I loved seeing Gemma's character development。 It was really satisfying seeing her finally grow a backbone and not let people walk all over her。 It made the ending of the book that much better。 Hudson was adorable。 The definition of a bad boy with a heart of gold。 Really enjoyed seeing them go through her list together。 This book made me smile so many times。 It's my first book of this series。 Excited to read the rest!!I received an ARC in exchange for an honest re This was a really cute YA novel。 I loved seeing Gemma's character development。 It was really satisfying seeing her finally grow a backbone and not let people walk all over her。 It made the ending of the book that much better。 Hudson was adorable。 The definition of a bad boy with a heart of gold。 Really enjoyed seeing them go through her list together。 This book made me smile so many times。 It's my first book of this series。 Excited to read the rest!!I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

Sarah has accomplished something that many authors have tried and failed to do: Create a well-rounded, believable "bad boy" that the audience will truthfully synthesize with along with being able to do the "good girl" without making her seem like a pick-me or a goody-too-shoes。 Gemma is what I would consider the glass child。 She is a good girl not because she thinks she's better than everyone, but because she was forced into her role。 That is something that is relatable。 The other thing that is Sarah has accomplished something that many authors have tried and failed to do: Create a well-rounded, believable "bad boy" that the audience will truthfully synthesize with along with being able to do the "good girl" without making her seem like a pick-me or a goody-too-shoes。 Gemma is what I would consider the glass child。 She is a good girl not because she thinks she's better than everyone, but because she was forced into her role。 That is something that is relatable。 The other thing that is relatable is the even balance between having overbearing parents and parents that seem to ignore you。 Something that is truly refreshing。 Hudson is the true bad boy。 He doesn't do well in school, seems intimidating, and is less than polite。 But it is not in a way that its bullying。 He's also not a rich snob who has no true reason to despise the school or anyone else。 Hudson has a true reason to dislike the school and its teachers and that is refreshing。 The found family in this book is heartwarming and so many scenes have me squealing from the sweetness。 This book is the epitome of cliche done right。 Thank you so much for letting me be an ARC reader! 。。。more

If peer mentoring comes with a guy like the Grim Reaper, sign me up!At the beginning of this book, I had a really hard time with Gemma。 It was hard to read about her being walked over by her parents and even occasionally her friends。 I just wanted her to stand up for herself so bad。 I think that’s what makes her character development so satisfying。 By the end of this book, Gemma had me literally fist pumping。 There were serious Rapunzel vibes with her and her arc and I am here for it。 And Hudson If peer mentoring comes with a guy like the Grim Reaper, sign me up!At the beginning of this book, I had a really hard time with Gemma。 It was hard to read about her being walked over by her parents and even occasionally her friends。 I just wanted her to stand up for herself so bad。 I think that’s what makes her character development so satisfying。 By the end of this book, Gemma had me literally fist pumping。 There were serious Rapunzel vibes with her and her arc and I am here for it。 And Hudson。 I love him, that bad boy with the cotton candy colored sweatshirt。 I loved learning about his past and the reasons why he acted the way he did。 It was a really believable play on the cinnamon roll bad boy and I feel like I’m going to hold him up as a standard。 This series is so good。 I keep thinking that Sarah Sutton can’t top her last one, but she does and I hope she never stops。 。。。more

Sarah has done is again! I don’t read a ton of YA romance these days, but I’ll read everything that Sarah Sutton writes。 This book does have some heavier emotions and themes。 I was so mad at Gemma’s mom for so much of the book, like WAKE UP LADY!! But I loved Gemma and I adore Hudson 😍😍I am truly loving this series and I can’t wait to see what comes next。 And a huge thank you to the author for gifting me an arc of this book。 All opinions are my own。

Oh my god this book was so good。 Gemma was so amazing and Hudson was a God Tier book boy。 Sarah never fails to make my fall in love with her story lines and characters。 The story line was so well done。 Everything about this book was so unbelievably perfect。 I always recommend Sarah Sutton books to my friends who want a change sometimes from adult romances and this may just be the one book I always recommend first。
